A Day in Limketkai

So for the whole day today, I was in Limketkai, a local mall here in Cagayan de Oro. I know what you're thinking, though. "Dude, Bagyong Sendong just hit your city, and you're out shopping!" Well, I have reasonable reasons, okay? My motifs for coming here? I needed to give my box of memories to someone willing to keep it. Why did I stay for 5 hours? She took so long. Promise. She did. My legs hurt because of her. :P (Just kidding, no insulting thoughts meant at all!)

Anyway, first up, I went to National Boosktore. I wasn't able to take any pictures there because I was kind of lazy. I was focused on finding some good stuff, and so I did. After my two hours in the store, I paid and went out to look for a place to sit.

I found a pretty good place beside the balcony, a little cafe which remains unnamed. I stayed there for a bit, putting out my stuff and then heading out a bit later.

The little cafe beside Nescafe.
So I started unloading there. Here's what I got:

Stabilo Fineliner 0.4mm (Php 165.75)
Stabilo Swing Cool (Php 29.75)
Pen Pouch (x2) (Php 90)
My pen case, yet again.  But inside this time. <3

Cattleya Index Cards (x4) (Php 13.50)
Accordion Folder (Php 100)
Super Sharpie Twin Tip (Broad/Chisel) (Php 82.75)
Staedtler Mars plastic eraser (Php 45.25)
T-Pencil Sprint 0.5mm (Php 50.75)
Paris Depuis 1968 Yeah! Notebook (Php 124.75)

After testing everything out, I headed out and looked for a place to go. I passed by Jollibee, Digital Hub, a coffee shop, and when I went down the escalator, I saw lots of people scavenging for stuff in a place that kind of looks like a market. Haha!

Not so very long after, I found the place: Japan Home. I mean sure, the stuff there isn't so reliable, but I went in anyway. It's so cheap inside, I swear.

Hello, Japan Home!

A Uni-ball Signo Erasable. YOU NO BELIEVE ME?

I also got a gold, silver, and white marker and of course a really cooooooool pouch. That's for some other time, though.

So after my time at Japan Home, I returned to the little cafe, sat for a while. I got fries and tea and all., and headed to National Bookstore for a meet-up so I can give the little box of memories to the person I was waiting for. She finally arrived after 5 hours, but I gave it to her anyway. I stayed a while, sat down in the cafe upstairs again, and when they came to say hi, I left. Not because I'm a bitch like that, just 'cuz I'm tired.

Overall, good day. Second blog post, yes?
